EAP/Behavioral Health Services
Emotional health is a crucial element of well-being. Confidential counseling services are provided to help identify and resolve personal issues that may be standing in the way of improved health and/or productivity. EAP/Behavioral Health Services is located at 2004 North 12th Street, 1st floor.

Colorado Plateau Crisis Support Team
Our goal is to assist the emergency services and healthcare personnel involved in stressful occupational events.

We can support this goal through training, peer support, intervention, debriefing, psychological first-aid and on-site stress management.

The benefits of using the team is to reduce the impact of critical stress, accelerate the recovery process, improve coping skills of future incidents and reduce job burn out.

Our teams consist of volunteers who are familiar with emergency and healthcare services. They are carefully selected and may include:
    Mental Health Professionals
    EMS Personnel
    Law enforcement officers
    Fire service personnel
    Dispatchers
    EMS instructors
    Nurses
    Clergy/Pastoral Staff
    Search & Rescue

The Colorado Plateau Crisis Support Team is available to any emergency service organization or hospital. Information discussed during the debriefing will not leave the session. There is no charge for the teams services.

Intensive Care Unit
The Intensive Care Unit of Community Hospital provides care for the most critically ill patients. We consider the patient's family a important part of their care team and work closely with them to provide frequent condition updates and compassion for their difficult situation.
