| Our dedication to improving the health and quality of life of the individuals and communities we serve does not only mean treating you when you’re sick. We also take that charge to heart when it comes to preventing illness.

We devote our time and resources to a number of health-education efforts as part of our larger service to the community. We want you to know how to take good care of yourself and to strive for the healthiest life possible.
You’ll see us at health fairs, such as The Daily Sentinel’s Head to Toe Women’s Expo, where we provided free health screenings for bone health, skin cancer and blood pressure, among others. Our healthcare professionals hold free informational diabetes support groups every month and offer a comprehensive diabetes management course through the Nutrition Education & Diabetes Center at Community Hospital. You may also want to consider joining us for a Lunch & Learn class on a wide range of expert-led topics including preparing healthy snacks, avoiding injuries in young athletes, and walking for fun and fitness. Classes are free and open to anyone with an interest. |
