Clinical Positions
  • Director Emergency Department - Full Time - Functions under the direction of the CNO of Community Hospital, and serves as the department leader for the Emergency Department and Trauma Services. Given broad guidance and direction and is expected to function with initiative and independent judgment. As a working supervisor, will participate in the activities of the department and will train and supervise personnel, direct departmental activities; determine staffing patterns and confer with the CNO on hiring, firing, promotions, disciplinary action and personnel evaluation. Assists with the development, interpretation and application of departmental policies, budgets and long range plans. Monitors all services provided by outside contractors. Performs administrative duties of supervision within the department. Responsible for departmental quality assurance consistent with organizational policies and procedures. Requires current, unrestricted State of Colorado licensure as a Registered Nurse; graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Bachelors in Nursing, or intent to pursue bachelors required. Master’s degree in nursing preferred. Greater than five (5) years experience in nursing leadership preferred. BCLS required within 90 days of employment and ACLS certification preferred.

  • RN - Part Time & PRN - Emergency Department - To provide critical care assessment, intervention and care, including emotional support, to the patients, and their families, that seek care in the emergency department. Uses critical thinking and decision making skills to care for patients. Works collaboratively with physicians, clerks, students, other healthcare providers and co-workers. Assists with department related duties; such as cleaning, stocking and organization. Requires current, unrestricted licensure as a registered nurse in Colorado. BCLS required upon hire. ACLS within 3 months of hire; TNCC within 6 months of hire; ENPC and PALS required within 12 months of hire or each at first available class (PRN staff must have either ENPC or PALS). Monitors patients during procedures and recovery. Requires current, unrestricted licensure as a registered nurse in Colorado. Between one and two years of general nursing experience preferred. BCLS is required within 90 days of employment. ACLS certification is required within 1 year of employment. Experience with conscious sedation, endoscopy, and minor surgical procedures is helpful.

  • Clinical Supply Analyst - Full Time - Analyzes cost of supplies and equipment for all clinical procedures in the OR in collaboration with physicians, administration, materiels and OR management; determines appropriate supplies and equipment to be purchased as needed for the OR; evaluates OR efficiencies. Current Colorado licensed RN required.  Knowledgeable in surgical supplies/materiels management; knowledgeable of regulatory and accreditation requirements in surgical asset management; knowledgeable in Stark and Anti-Kickback statutes; knowledge of business profit and loss statement development in surgical business planning; knowledgeable about reimbursement methodologies in Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payors. BCLS within 90 days of hire. Requires extensive experience in surgical services and supplies. Prefer previous experience with ARRAY and Meditech.

  • Cardiac Ultrasonographer - Full Time - Performs all cardiac ultrasound procedures, provide program development of combined adult and congenital echocardiogram procedures for athletic cardiac screening and assessment exams to include training of staff and administrative duties associated with program development and maintenance.   • Case Manager - Full Time - Responsible for conducting admissions and concurrent review of patients admitted: assess appropriate level of care, evaluate medical necessity, assess and plan for discharge needs, identify and facilitate provision of services necessary to meet discharge needs to facilitate a safe and timely discharge.
