Attention Nurses!!
If you are an LPN or RN, and seeking a change in career paths, have you considered becoming a clinical coder?

Clinical coding is key to advancing specificity in describing and measuring clinical complexity of the patients we treat, as well as in measuring quality of care and outcomes of the services we provide. As you may have heard, the United States has joined the rest of the world in adopting the ICD-10 coding nomenclature.

  • Certified Coding Assistant Certification (must be obtained within 90 days of completion of the coding program)

  • Certified Coding Specialist (must be obtained within 18 months of completion of the coding program

Hundreds of nurses across the country have chosen to apply their clinical experience to clinical coding. If you are one of those, we are seeking two candidates who desire to shift career paths for clinical coding. We will provide the training toward certification, and require a three-year commitment in return. Candidates should be committed to this path, with high attention to detail, and have critical clinical thinking skills.
