The Community Hospital Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization, governed by a volunteer 15-member board of directors. These directors are local business owners, civic leaders and physicians who willingly give of their time in support of Community Hospital. The foundation raises, invests and disperses funds to support the programs and services of Community Hospital. In 2010 the foundation donated over $22,000 to employee scholarships and more than $100,000 towards the purchase of an additional digital mammography unit.
