The Intensive Care Unit of Community Hospital provides care for the most critically ill patients. We consider the patient's family a important part of their care team and work closely with them to provide frequent condition updates and compassion for their difficult situation.

Our mission is to care for the whole patient and their families physically, mentally and spiritually. We strive to provide the highest quality care possible through our commitment to ongoing medical education and training for our staff.

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is open 24 hours a day, seven days per week, and cares for patient requiring critical-care intervention for acute or potentially life-threatening ailments as well as outpatient procedures and surgical recoveries.

The unit consists of six beds around a central monitoring station. This arrangement allows for patient visualization at all times. Critical-care monitoring includes hemodynamic, cardiac, pulse oximetry and ventilation support.
