Osteoporosis is a disease characterized by brittle and broken bones due to a loss of bone density. Osteoporosis is often called a “silent disease” because it usually progresses without symptoms until a fracture occurs. Dr. Michael Dohm, orthopaedic surgeon, will discuss the key risk factors associated with osteoporosis and what you can do to slow the loss of bone density associated with aging.
