This includes pre-operative and post-operative surgical care, pre-operative and post-operative psychological and nutritional counseling, financial conferencing, educational seminars and unlimited participation in support group meetings for those who have had the surgery and those considering it.

For those whose insurance may not cover the surgery, we offer our patients a very competitive self-pay discounted price of $12,750.

Our program works with local surgeon, Dr. Andrew Morse of Surgical Associates of Western Colorado and Dr. Steve Sawyer of Black Canyon Surgeons.
Eligibility for Lap Band Surgery
Our program follows the National Institutes of Health guidelines, which includes the Body Mass Index (BMI) to determine a patient's eligibility for surgery. BMI measures weight in relation to height.

Our discounted self-pay Lap Band Surgery price of $12,750* includes:
  1. Behavioral Health testing and counseling prior to surgery (usually 2 visits)
  2. Nutritional counseling prior to surgery (usually 2 visits)

  3. Pre-op visit with surgeon (H&P visit)

  4. Surgeon, anesthesia and facility fee

  5. Behavioral Health counseling for 90 day period following surgery, as needed

  6. Nutritional counseling for 90 day period following surgery as needed

  7. Post surgical visit with surgeon

  8. 1st fill with surgeon (within 90 days)

  9. 90 day membership to Gold’s Gym if patient enrolls within 6 months of surgery
  10. Unlimited participation before and after surgery in support group meetings held monthly

Not included in the self-pay discounted price:
The initial screening assessment by the surgeon which is done to make sure the patient is a good candidate for surgery. The cost of this visit is $200.

Payment of the discounted cash price of $12,750* is due in full prior to surgery.

*Please note this is an outpatient procedure price. There may be additional charges if the patient has to be admitted to the hospital.
